That said, Laco is a brand that has been around since 1925 and was one of the original 5 brands producing classic Fliegers for the German airforce during WWII. Laco is a German brand with a rich history dating back nearly 100 years to 1925. They first obtained their reputation of exceptional timepieces by being one of the original providers of B-Uhr watches during the mid 20th century. Horrible and Unresponsive…

…are two words I would never use to describe the Laco Aachen watch and Teddy Baldassarre. Quite the opposite. I love this watch! More impressive in person than in images and it is quickly becoming my favorite timepiece. It has heft without being heavy and is solidly built. I love the strap and know I’ll love it more as it breaks in. And the lume! It’s awesome! Service from Teddy Baldassarre is nothing short of outstanding. When I was notified that the supplier was delayed in delivering my Aachen, I was told immediately and then the watch was delivered well before it was expected. I can’t imagine a more pleasurable watch buying experience. Five Freakin’ Stars!

Second hand sticks

I like this watch. However after only 4 weeks the second hand on this watch sticks on the minute hand at the 4:00 position causing the watch to stop.

Exactly what I was expecting

Exactly what I was expecting it to be. Keeps great time and the lume is terrific. My only complaint is the miyota. Like all others I've had it sounds like change in a dryer when the rotor spins. Not something that bothers me however.

Lovely time piece with one flaw

Love the business and the people behind it, the watch I received, oddly enough, had a skipping second hand which is odd for a traditionally very reliable miyota movement. While the watch seems to be functioning properly now, I am thankful for the two year warranty in case it starts acting up again. Customer service has been great throughout this unfortunate circumstance.
